Background: Revamp Herb Lubalin’s U&lc typographic magazine into the 21st century by freshing up the logo while staying true to the magazine’s roots. The logo will be displayed on a cover along with designs for a title spread layout.
Rebrand: The newly designed logo was created using an elegant serif typeface, Bookman JF Pro, and “Design A Cutting-Edge Typeface” was the issue’s theme which ties back to the magazines mission of being the first magazine for typeface lovers.
The logo was placed on promotional items such as tote bags, pins, note books and stickers to promote the new look and feel for U&lc.
